ITS Register of Information Templates – (EU) 2024/2956
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2956 of 29 November 2024 laying down implementing technical standards for the application of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 with regard to standard templates for the register of information
Abstract
Implementing Technical Standards under DORA specifying standard templates (Annexes I–IV) and completion instructions for the register of information on all contractual arrangements for ICT services provided by ICT third-party service providers, including supply-chain and subcontracting information, to support ICT third-party risk management, supervisory reporting, and oversight activities.
Key Takeaways
- Establishes EU-standard templates for maintaining a DORA register of information covering all ICT contractual arrangements with direct ICT third-party providers (and relevant subcontractors).
- Defines a relational, key-based template structure to enable consistent linking of contractual arrangements, entities/providers identifiers, functions, and ICT service types across templates.
- Supports supervisory needs and the designation/oversight process for critical ICT third-party providers by standardising identifiers (LEI/EUID) and data-quality principles.
- Includes supply-chain coverage requirements, including intra-group arrangements and reconciliation where part of the ICT service chain is intra-group.
- Provides detailed template-by-template completion instructions and closed lists/definitions to improve comparability and reduce reporting friction.
